Anyone else out there enjoy the hit Apple TV show Ted Lasso. 👋

*Spoiler Alert Below*

For those without any knowledge of Ted Lasso here is a brief overview…

Ted’s character is a refreshingly loveable goof ball soccer manager (coach) who is brought into an English Primer League team from the US under some shaky pretenses. I don’t want to give too much away if you’ve never seen the show.

Essentially, Ted knows plenty about coaching American football, but zip about soccer or the English Premier League.

In the show his affability and kindness is sorely needed on fictional AFC Richmond team and at first he’s seen as an idiot coach — however over time his charm, coaching abilities, and leadership skills start to shine.

Here’s a brief dive into ten core leadership lessons from the show:

  1. Believe in Yourself

Self-belief starts with self-motivation.

It’s about showing up when it’s not easy and tackling complex problems repeatedly.

At the end of the day, you’re the one who needs to bet on yourself and get up every morning to face challenges…
